Hi, I’m Atom Robinson, and I’m the organizer in the Public Policy Department at the Office for Social Justice, the Advocacy Division of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. My policy portfolio focuses on criminal justice system reform, heath care, mental health care, and housing for people living in poverty and crisis.
I currently serving on Saint Paul’s District 7 Planning Council Board, and I’m the co-chair of Board of Directors for the Workers Interfaith Network. I’m the chair of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet’s Criminal Justice Working Group, and I’ve managed a handful of political and issue campaigns.
I previously served as the web site coordinator for The Catholic Spirit, the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. I received his BA in Philosophy from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth’s Masters in Advocacy and Political Leadership (MAPL) program.
I live with my wife, Annie Crawford, in the Frogtown Neighborhood of St. Paul. We’ve been married for five years, and we welcomed our daughter, Kate, this summer.
